Ananda Shala Healing

At its core, Ananda Shala Healing is in service to our community and deeply committed to each individual’s journey.

Here we believe in the innate capacity to heal through the integration of body, mind, and spirit. Ananda Shala Healing came to life as a love-filled response to the unprecedented times our society has lived following the COVID-19 global pandemic. In April 2020, Owner and Co-Manager Adrianna Naomi, transitioned to teaching yoga online to support her student community. In June 2020, she introduced rooftop yoga classes to her teaching schedule—expanding and strengthening the community she had already built by bringing them closer together. Come January 2021 and Ananda Shala Healing was born. It began as an initiative to host free bi-weekly community gatherings; attendants were encouraged to openly express themselves about their present circumstances in the same way Adrianna held community discussions with her students post-class. With the assistance of Co-Manager Kimberly Marcotte, Adrianna hosted the first of four continuing education workshops that Ananda Shala Healing will offer in 2021. Together, Adrianna and Kim are growing this light-filled community by adding more yoga class offerings and ways in which individuals can heal together virtually and in-person.

Welcome to our shala (home) at , a space for healing practitioners to provide services and organize events. We are proud to share this space, both physically and energetically, with other humans concerned with body-mind work.

Our GSHP shala counts with yoga mats and props. In addition, our guests can enjoy the space's bathrooms and open, room-temperature Community Room, where we host our weekly classes and events. GSHP's Community Room has no mirrors and a beautiful skylight to enhance our ability to connect inward.
