BACK TO THE BASICS
God gave me this word for 2023. He showed me the MANY contexts of this theme, and told me to share it with you.......ME-NISTRY BEFORE MINISTRY! Pls study Maslow's Hierarchy!!! Do your research on it and you'll get the gist 🙏
Basically, your priorities have to be in order this year. If you don't want the responsibility, then don't claim it. But you can't claim it and not feed it. You cannot buy a pet only to starve it. Give it away or feed it!!! RESPONSIBILITY!!! You can't enroll into a Masters program and not study. You can't decide to be a Doctor, yet not heal people. It has to stop!!!
The order is God, You, Your Family, and then MINISTRY, especially we religious people. We must stop neglecting our health and our family. Get your teeth washed, your liver cleansed, your eyes and your colon checked, your breasts examination(including men) be good stewards of WHAT AND WHO God has given to you.
Stop heaping curses on yourself, and don't neglect yourself for your family either. I am guilty of that 🙏 We can all do better.
Listen Brethren, you cannot continue to hurt yourself and your family, yet run ministry or business. You cannot be an English Professor yet all your children are illiterates. That is preposterous!!!
YOU cannot go without sleep, without food, without love, and yet run a church, or lead people. YOU JUST CAN'T! Your blessings will be short circuted if you continue like this. Minister to yourself before you minister to others. Take care of yourself, seek therapy, drink water, execise, eat right, pay off debts, don't have debts, sleep, save money, work on your weaknesses, forgive, love, give, be kind.
Have a relationship with the Lord, not a bidding affair. God is not your cash cow, or your magic wand. Stop using Him. Serve Him!!!
This new year, get centered with yourself and God, then He will use you in ministry, and you will find ministry to be even smoother. Roll up your sleeves and work hard. Stop jumping and hopping out. You are not a grasshopper. You are not an insect.
Stop crawling in and out of people and stuff. Stay consistent and committed and work hard. If it gets tough, hold on to God. I am leading people of grit, people who stay, people who listen to God, not people who run away from smoke, what will they do when they see fire? These are people who lean on their own understanding. We're not doing that this year Ladies and Gentleman.
We're gonna lean on God and be led by the spirit. No more power play. Aren't you tired? I've done all of that, it only keeps you in a loop. Again, everything I say and post is from experience. I am not preaching to anybody.
Save yourself some trouble this year, and gather yourself. Get yourself together before you get others together. Stop distracting yourself from your own p**p. Stop wiping people's p*e, while you have diarrhea. It is not a good look 😆
1 Timothy 5:8>>>>
But if someone does not provide for his own, especially his own family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
This passage is not just referring to the breadwinner and financial responsibility. It is referring to putting your family first. Priorities in order. Doing the right thing. You must be available to yourself first, then to your family, but all this must stem from your reverence and relationship to God!!! But you are your first family member. Heal thyself. Feed yourself, then feed your family, then you can do all the charity you want. Stop walking with naked wounds expecting people to endure the stench. It is NOT godly. It is not right.
This year, I intend to nourish my soul and actualize my dreams as usual. Though ,deeper roots, not wider sprouts. You may find me to be more stationary this year but believe me, I will be working harder than I've ever worked. Have you ever seen what the feet of a Swan does while in water? Google it and watch a video. You will be shocked. That's what you're gonna see me doing this year, but I may not look it :) I am building on a deeper level this year>>>>>> ME-NISTRY!!! I owe it to myself, and so do you. Happy New Year
