✨ CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: BIPOC VOICES NEEDED ✨
How were you taught to handle your emotions?
When did you learn what was “too much,” “not enough,” or “unsafe” to show?
I’m currently conducting a research study focused on emotional vulnerability, emotional safety, intimacy, and relational experiences among Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC).
Many of us learned early how to protect ourselves emotionally because of culture, family expectations, gender roles, racism, or stereotypes. This study centers those lived experiences and asks questions that research often skips.
Topics include:
• Emotional vulnerability & emotional policing
• Relational and sexual safety
• Cultural and gendered expectations
• Stereotypes and how emotions are misread
• What helps (or blocks) softness, honesty, and connection
What participation looks like:
• Anonymous online survey
• ~20 minutes
Who can participate:
✔️ You identify as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color
✔️ You are 18 or older

Your voice helps shape research, clinical practice, and future writing that actually reflects BIPOC emotional realities—not stereotypes.
