made my moving experience bliss and stress free! Coming off of a week of touring in Spain this move truly snuck up on me (I’m talking I landed at 8 pm and they were coming at 9 am the next morning) but they made the experience so pleasant i didnt have to life a finger and ended up staying in the comfort of my slippers the entire day! If it wasn’t for them my nervous system would definitely have been in shambles lol

Leaning into this next chapter of my life 🦋

Officially signing a lease in Miami and so excited to see what this chapter brings about for Healthembody and my career as a facilitator. It has taken years for me to work through the limiting beliefs in stepping into this role and with each and every event, I feel more and more in my power.

Thank you so much to and for hosting this beautiful event and having me facilitate a journaling session.

Journaling was my first tool in the world of self development and wellness and one of my favorite things to do is come together and hold space for this practice. Seeing others open with vulnerability in these moments and connect deeper into themselves will never get old.

Very excited for the in person connecting that is to come!

For the longest time, I shut off any emotions because of fear of feeling the negative ones. defines emotions as “energy in motion”. What I have learned in my years is if you don’t identify and put a name to this energy, it remains stagnant in the body.

This manifests in a host of different issues from health issues to limiting beliefs, anxiety, and depression. In my journey I saw this show up as PCOS, an extremely dysregulated nervous system, extreme anxiety and depressive cycles, and a compromised immune system.

Breathwork, meditation and somatic movements allowed me to connect into my body and face these emotions with ease rather than fear. They allowed me to be able to articulate my emotions and get them out of my body rather than keeping them stuffed down. They allowed me the freedom to create a life I desire rather than one filled with chaos.

To feel the fullest expression of the good emotions in life, I have learned you have to get comfortable with the uncomfortable ones as well. I don’t know about you but I love feeling joy, peace and happiness and I know that comes with sadness, anger and frustration but that doesn’t mean you can’t create safety within your body to feel them.

As someone who spends time online chronically from a work setting it is so important to make sure I’m chasing natural dopamine as much as possible. Dopamine, often referred to as the “feel-good” neurotransmitter, plays a crucial role in our brain’s reward and pleasure systems. Naturally occurring in the brain, dopamine is released during pleasurable situations and stimulates feelings of enjoyment and reinforcement, motivating a person proactively to perform certain activities. This little chemical is responsible for regulating mood, attention, and learning. Healthy levels of dopamine can enhance cognitive performance, promote a sense of well-being, and boost overall life satisfaction.

Natural ways to boost dopamine levels include engaging in regular physical exercise, getting adequate sleep, and consuming a balanced diet rich in tyrosine, an amino acid found in foods like almonds, avocados, bananas, and dairy products. Mindfulness practices such as meditation and yoga, as well as hobbies that stimulate creativity and enjoyment, can also elevate dopamine production.
