🌾✨ Cowboy Carter had me in my feelings... and in my freedom.
I went to see Beyoncé in ATL (yes, night one… no Destiny’s Child, no Jay-Z 😭 but I digress) and walked out reflecting on way more than just vocals and visuals.
This wasn’t just a concert. It was a masterclass in liberation.
In self-energy.
In reclaiming your narrative — especially as a Black woman in America.
I found myself asking: Can I be Black and still proud to be American?
Is it safe to take up space in a system that wasn’t built for me?
And what does Beyoncé know about inner safety that lets her show up so boldly, over and over again?
I wrote a blog about it — about Beyoncé, about healing, and about what it takes to be whole in a world that often asks us to perform instead.
