After the party, yoga hits a little different. We try to be serious, but the holiday mood is still very much alive.

Working with my senior students over the years has changed the way I see yoga. Many of them are limited in their movements or sit in wheelchairs, and when I ask them what happiness means, they always say the same thing “To be able to move and take care of myself.” So every time I practice, I think about them. I move not only for myself, but also for those who dream of doing the same. It makes me appreciate my body, the way it carries me, and the simple miracle of being able to move. It helps me stay present and feel every breath, every stretch, every moment
