That pressure of not saying no to others to not “make them feel” any type of way or because we want to be liked/loved/accepted can be a heavy burden to carry. And whether we want to acknowledge it or not, we pay a price for it.
I invite you to notice how often you may say yes to others while really wanting to say no. This will allow you to understand your own patterns and allow you to reflect on why you may say yes to those circumstances, ask yourself; “what am I afraid might happen if I say No?, what would be the worse case scenario?, what would be the best case scenario?, what plan can I make to best manage the outcome?”
