The Dangers of Sitting and the Power of Movement

It’s easy to question the decisions of those who continue to smoke despite the overwhelming evidence of its harm. Yet, we've long known or now know the dangers of a sedentary lifestyle and continue on in the same behaviors. Are we ignoring our own harmful behaviors?

The benefits of regular movement are undeniable. It's a blessing for our physical and mental health.

Sadly, too much sitting is linked to diabetes, cancer, heart disease, and even dementia.

Research suggests that 300,000 dementia cases could be prevented annually if we all embraced a more active lifestyle.

We have a choice! We can make intentional decisions about our fitness.
