At Leaps And Bounds (The LAB!), we assess and treat children who have difficulties in motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation and social skills. Partnering with parents, caregivers, teachers and other professionals is inherent to our practice. Derived from our knowledge of neuroscience-based principles, body mechanics, play and functional skill development, these interventions often in

clude:

Sensory processing intervention, utilizing our
sensory gym and a ‘sensory diet‘ of activities to help a child
self-regulate and improve motor skills and behavioral
responses to the environment. NEW in 2017: Piano Play at The LAB!, utilizing piano and early music
concepts as one of many therapeutic activities used here

Gross motor
Fine motor
Handwriting
Keyboarding
Self-care
Vision: perceptual, visual-motor, oculomotor
