Titanium Hinge: The Secret Inside 7mm

The hinge connects the front and the temple (arm) of the glasses and serves as a joint that allows the temple to open and close.

Traditional hinges that use rivets couldn’t be used with flat, thin titanium frames because the curvature of the rivet disrupted the clean, unified line of the front. Additionally, the welding process required to attach the front and the temple was a barrier to precision and customization.

To create custom-fit titanium glasses, Breezm spent 3 years in continuous trial and effort. Ultimately, we developed our very own titanium hinge through a patented process.

🔧 Breezm Titanium Hinge
- To preserve the straight, thin line of the titanium front, we minimized the use of rivets.
- Even without rivets, the hinge allows smooth opening and closing of the temples.
- The front, temples, and hinge all fit together like a puzzle—no welding required.

- Its slim and flat design enhances the minimalist aesthetic of the titanium front.
- Unlike riveted hinges that can become loose over time, our titanium hinges maintain their fit.
- Eliminating welding makes the process more customizable and reduces both production time and cost.

- Each of the three grooves on the hinge adds functional and aesthetic points.
