Sit or lie down comfortably, put an eye mask or a scarf on your eyes so you can see better with your 3rd eye. Close your eyes and take three deep breaths. Breathe in on a count of 4,3,2,1 and… Repeat this 3 times. Listen to the drum…
Start by imagining an entry into a tree, a waterfall, a tunnel or a hole that goes to the underworld. Find your entry point. Go down into the Earth through this portal, and a dark tunnel… and find yourself emerging into a different landscape. This could be anywhere… Now look for an animal. Any animal; feel which one calls you. Don’t judge. Go with whatever you experience, whatever you feel. Every animal has its own power, a quality you have or need. When you see an animal, ask it, if it is your spirit guide. If it is not, ask it to take you to your spirit animal. Once you find your spirit animal, you will feel it. Ask it, “what is it that I need to learn from you?

Good morning, dear WelcomeEarth community!

We hope you’ve slept well. Grab a cup of coffee, matcha, or some warm water with lemon and jot down how you’ve slept. That’s right, we are creating a sleep journal.
Sleep journals help us improve our sleep hygiene. This means paying good attention to the things which we know help us improve our sleep, as well as avoiding the ones that disturb our sleep. But first we need to create a baseline sleep hygiene. Let’s get to work. Here are some things to include:
💤 Bedtime
💤 Time it took to fall asleep
💤 Frequency of getting up at night
💤 Why did you wake up?
💤 What time did you wake up?
💤 How do you feel this morning?
💤 What did you eat yesterday?
💤 How much did you drink yesterday?
💤 How much did you drink before going to bed?
💤 Did you exercise yesterday?

These are all important things that can have an effect on our sleep hygiene. As an example, drinking lots of water ~2h before going to bed can have a negative impact on our sleep cycle.

For the next 3 days, we are going to start building a healthy and sustainable sleep ritual together. We will begin by tackling one of the biggest challenges:
How to reduce anxiety and stress before sleep? We will do that by developing our mindfulness skills. Mindfulness helps us be present and pays special attention to what's going on inside of us. So tonight, let's do the following:

📴 Switch off from all digital distractions.
🤫 Turn your phone on airplay or silent.
📝 Take two pieces of paper and a pen.
✅ Write down all the things you need to do on one paper.
✍🏽 Write down all your unwanted thoughts and feelings that make you feel uncertain or trouble you on the second paper.
🗑 Toss ONLY the unwanted paper into the trash.
👍🏽 Keep the to-do paper as an action item list to kickstart your next day.

Throwing out your unwanted paper, or thoughts, declutters your brain and reduces negativity. It clears your mind and calms down your amygdala, the area of the brain that contributes to emotional processing.
