Professional Biography
Dr. Gordon began her education at Cornell University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Society and then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine at UMDNJ – New Jersey Dental School (now Rutgers University). Dr. Gordon’s post-graduate education includes a General Practice Residency at Woodhull Medical Center, an affiliate of NYU School of Medicine. A routine participant in continuing education programs and a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society, Dr. Gordon continues to cultivate her knowledge and skills in the ever-changing field of dentistry. She has completed advanced training in implantology at NYU’s Linhart Dental Education Program and is currently working towards her Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Gordon has also completed multiple externships, including at the Division of Dentistry at Weill Cornell Medical College and with the Indian Health Service in Mesa, Arizona.
She believes in working with patients to help them to fully understand dental disease and individual treatment options, allowing for the formulation of a comprehensive treatment plan. With an emphasis on interventional and preventative care, Dr. Gordon strives to use minimally invasive conservative treatment to both protect and enhance the strength and beauty of the natural dentition. Always available to her patients (even on an emergency basis), Dr. Gordon is willing to address any concerns you might have!
