A little something about Patricia Seery, a gifted empath .
Since Patricia was a young child, she knew she was different from the other children in her middle-class Long Island neighborhood. Patricia would often know things without being told and was very attuned to the feelings of others — so much so that she often found herself overwhelmed by the emotions of those around her. As a child of the eighties, Patricia didn’t have a name for what she was experiencing —and didn’t identify as an empath. Heck, she didn’t even know what an empath was! However, she was drawn towards helping those in need and leveraged her highly empathic natured by pursuing a career in special education. After receiving her Masters Degree from Columbia University, Patricia devoted the next twenty-five years to teaching middle school students with special needs.
While Patricia found enormous satisfaction in both her work and her life as a wife and mother, as she approached her fiftieth birthday she felt that something was missing from her life. Patricia suspected — no, she KNEW that she wasn’t quite fulfilling her life’s purpose. But what to do about it?
The world had changed since Patricia was a child. New Age practices were no longer “secret” and stigmatized and a whole world of knowledge was now open to her. Patricia dove headfirst into a series of metaphysical studies — including yoga, reiki and angel card reading. However, Patricia is only getting started on her journey of discovery and she invites other women are also looking for clarity about their own life’s purpose to join her on this adventure as Patricia connects with experts and explores the many pathways to enlightenment. Patricia just might find the answers she’s been looking for — and you might find what you’re looking for as well.
