Happy to serve as a consulting physician for in caring for their performers.

I can’t seem to find a single word that encapsulates feeling humbled with a deep sense of gratefulness and fulfillment, but if I could, I’d use it to describe working beside your mentors. Thank you to for trusting me and saying my name in room(s) full of opportunities.

My colleagues and I got to speak on Capitol Hill today on behalf of the (and honestly, all physicians, regardless of specialty) asking for a long-term solution to physician reimbursement and the passage of a bipartisan bill supporting prior authorization reform.

I’m not sure I’m cut out for the health policy world but I’m glad to have met all the staffers, lobbyists, and health policy professionals I spoke with over these last two days. It has certainly been an eye-opener learning about the ins-and-outs of US government firsthand.

At the end of the day, I speak on behalf of my patients and the care they deserve.

10 years (+1 day) ago, I graduated from medical school and had the honor of being hooded by my great aunt, a cardiologist. It is a privilege to be a physician, to be trusted by the community I serve, and I can tell you I don’t take the responsibility lightly. What an immense honor it is to have the opportunity to both heal and be healed by my patients.

10 years. Crazy. 👩🏻‍⚕️🩺🩻🎓
