This is such amazing news!

Morning sickness has always confounded me. I mean, why would nature allow a mechanism that deprives women of nutrition, at the most critical time in our reproductive lives? It never made sense to me from an evolutionary standpoint. Why is it so debilitating for some, while others barely experience it at all? And why do some women have it with some pregnancies, but not others? Well, thanks to science, we now have some answers and a very promising path forward.

I’m very excited that pregnant women will soon have access safe and effective relief from morning sickness and Hyperemesis gravidarum.

FINALLY!

A protein released by the foetus is thought to be linked to severe morning sickness. The discovery could lead to better treatment of the condition.
