The World Health Organization states infants should not be exposed to electronic screens. Did you know children younger than age 2 are more likely to learn and remember info from real life interactions than they are from a video? Children 2+ years can benefit from some types of screen time but it’s important remember to get yourself involved! By watching a program together and drawing attention to what is on the screen, you can help your little one understand what he or she is seeing and apply it to their life. It’s also important to implement screen time rules that are right for your family. The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests limiting that to 1 hour/ day of educational programs.
