His color was blue and gold and he was a famous baker. Special thanks to the design team who purchased "real" authentic Bajan breads like lead pipe and salt bread to enhance Ivan's funeral set up!

Who was Ivan “Nick” Nicholls?

Adapted from his obituary: “

After establishing his residence here in New York City, Ivan broke barriers by opening Nick’s Barbados Bakery and Restaurant. He was the first Bajan ever to open a bakery in New York.
This establishment was wildly successful where people from all over the world would drive and fly in just to get a taste of his bread and food.
Ivan also founded many clubs most notably the Remsen Cave. This led to him establishing himself in the nightlife industry. Ivan set an exemplar blueprint for others to be able to build successful businesses.”
