What. A. Week.
I’m officially cashing in all of my 1:11s, 11:11s, 3:33s, and 4:44s. ✨

First, the Today Show.
Then, being selected as a sponsor for the U of M Ross Business College WMBA Program.
And finally… flying to NYC to see Jesse Itzler live and meeting the person who has been at the top of all my “If you could meet anyone” lists, Sara Blakely

These moments are the perfect reminder that everything happens in God’s (or the universe’s) timing, whichever you believe in. The seeds for this week were planted almost four years ago, when I won a contest Jesse posted on his stories. God has been plotting this for years, lining up every step long before I could see the full picture.

Leading up to the event, I knew I wanted to bring Sara more of the Sea Salt crackers she inspired, this time with the new logo and nutrition labels because they’re almost ready to launch. I just didn’t know how I was going to get them to her.

Then, earlier in the week, Jesse messaged me back and said:
“I love your snacks, bring some!”
That was my sign.

So I loaded my carry-on full of snacks and brought them to NYC. I didn’t end up getting them to Jesse, but after the event I spotted where Sara was sitting, and I bolted. Sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands!

It took a minute to get through the crowd, but when I finally reached her, I held up the bag and told her I brought her the crackers she inspired. Her response?

“Oh my god, I LOVE your crackers!”
Followed by a hug.
Then:
“I love that they don’t have garlic or onion so I can eat them.”

I didn’t get a photo (I left Chris stranded at our seats when I sprinted off!), but that moment is permanently stamped in my memory.

Moral of the story:
God and the universe are always working behind the scenes for you ev,en when it takes four years to unfold. Your time will come.
Don’t give up. Keep showing up. Keep believing. Keep moving.

Because one day… everything aligns exactly the way it was meant to. ✨

Still pinching myself. ✨

Seeing Free and Simple Foods in the AWEAR Market lineup on the Today Show, and reading Dave Coulier’s words, “Free and Simple Foods is exactly what AWEAR Market is all about” means more to me than I can put into words.

This is exactly why I started this business.
To create food that’s truly clean, safe, and accessible. To prove that snacks free from the top allergens can still be delicious. And to never waver, even when the path was harder.

The truth is…
I could have taken shortcuts. I could have gone with a co-packer. I could have compromised. Instead, I built my own allergen-friendly kitchen from scratch. Higher overhead, tariffs, long nights, and every obstacle that comes with doing things the right way. Because keeping my products safe and genuinely clean has always mattered more than convenience.

Moments like this remind me why all of that was worth it.
It’s because of people like Dave, and so many of you, who believe in this mission, who believe we deserve better food, better ingredients, and better options for our families and our bodies.

I’m beyond grateful. And more motivated than ever. 💛✨

This morning felt surreal. Dave Coulier shared his powerful cancer recurrence on the Today Show and debuted AWEAR. A platform I’m honored to be a part of. When the hosts reached into the AWEAR gift bag and pulled out my CHIVE CRACKERS, I just about lost it.

Endlessly grateful and excited for this next chapter!

Thank you and I am forever grateful ❤️❤️

Sometimes I look at my daughter and see pure happiness. She's carefree, strong, and living her best life. ✨

Entrepreneurship doesn’t always feel that way. It comes with struggles, twists, and downslopes that test your strength. Recently, I’ve been doing a lot of mindset work (thank you, Wayne Dyer 🎧) to remind myself to push through with positivity and resilience.

Her joy reminds me of my why. To keep going, to build something meaningful, and to approach life and business with the same freedom and strength she carries so effortlessly. 💛

This week I had the chance to attend Lions practice with Patrick and a few of his friends, thanks to Dan Skipper (and Mackenzie), who gifted us tickets. It was such an amazing experience and one we’ll never forget.

To say thank you, we made a big poster to hold up at practice. Honestly, I was shocked that we were the only ones who had a poster. Do people not do this anymore?

I’ve been called an “old soul” more times than I can count, but I’ll take it. To me, the simpler things like a 99¢ poster, a handwritten note, a personal thank-you are the ones that really matter. And it paid off: Dan spotted us in the crowd (with some extra waving from me 🤣) and even came over to sign autographs for the kids.

It made me think about how easy it is to overlook the personal touches these days. In my business and my life, I love sending handwritten thank-you notes, and I try to keep those little gestures alive. They may feel old-fashioned, but they’re meaningful.

Sometimes it’s the simplest things that leave the biggest impression.
