Thank you for hosting last week for private educational screenings of both our live capture film and our documentary!
After screening IN MY OWN LITTLE CORNER, The Film for students and faculty, Chryssie led a talk about how the profound acts of facing and sharing something as life altering as a mental health diagnosis or a long held family secret can lead us to uncover our greatest strengths. ✨
We also had the wonderful opportunity to share our documentary, The Stories Behind IN MY OWN LITTLE CORNER, with students from .stephens and the counseling program. Special thanks to Cheryl Black (Director of the Conservatory’s recent production of Legally Blonde the Musical) and Dr. Sarah Irvin (Assistant Professor of Counseling, Stephens College School of Health Sciences) for joining Chryssie in a post-screening panel discussion about the portrayal of mental health on stage and screen, and the future of mission driven theatre works opening up these critical conversations.
We love hearing such thoughtful responses from our audiences. Thank you to all who joined us 🌻
