A space where held patterns can be met safely, supporting a deeper sense of ease, connection, and stability within the body. Paulina Rzeczkowski, MD, offers body-led somatic work that supports the release of emotional and relational patterns held in the nervous system. Her work is grounded in attuned presence and unfolds at a pace the body can integrate, supporting a more stable sense of safety, c

larity, and regulation within the body. Many individuals arrive already insightful and functional, yet continue to experience underlying tension, anxiety, or a persistent sense of anticipation. This work addresses what remains held beneath cognitive understanding, allowing the body to complete patterns that are no longer needed. Her approach draws from somatic practice, Ayurveda, and a background in Western medicine. Rather than focusing on symptom management alone, it supports a shift in how individuals relate to their internal experience—restoring coherence, resilience, and capacity over time. Ayurvedic principles, including nutrition and lifestyle, are integrated where appropriate to support the body as a whole system. Ayurvedic nutrition consults are also available. This work is suited for individuals who are ready to engage in a more direct, embodied process of change.

Even The Ocean Waits

And in the depths of darkness
comes a moment of reckoning –

to continue on the same path
of destruction and self-harm
or to change course
toward smoother waters.

What will you choose?
How can you choose?
How does one choose
when you can't see
the choices
in the darkness before you?

You don't.

You wait…
for the storm to still,
for the clouds to clear.

Nothing ever lasts forever.
Nothing ever will.

And then –
you choose.

Something different.

Right way? Wrong way?
Who’s to say.

Make a choice.
Feel your way.
Trust you’ll always be redirected
along the way.

The path before you
is just one step.
That’s all you need
to change your day.

In the darkness,
rest and pray.

Allow what is
to find its way
into awareness –
and consciously stay,
here,
with what shows up

to be witnessed,
acknowledged,
held,
loved,

and maybe –
just maybe –
seen and met
for exactly what it is.

No fixing.
No shifting.
No changing
to make yourself more comfortable.

Just showing up
to see
and be seen
exactly where you are.

And from this space,
allowing
the winds of change.

From this place
of softening,
nature flows –
and you flow too.

For you are nature, too.

Earth Day

She is not just something we walk on.
She is something we are intricately part of.

The same force that grows forests,
moves tides,
and turns seasons
is the force moving through you.

Nature is not separate from you.
Nature is within you.
You are Nature.

Your body, your breath, your brain…
every cell carries ancient wisdom.
You are the microcosm of the macrocosm.
We are, quite literally, stardust.

As we honor the Earth “out there,”
let’s remember to honor the Earth within.

As you slow your breath,
your mind slows too.
And in that space—listen,
to your own rhythms.

The more we live in alignment
with Mother Earth,
the more harmony we see—
out there and within.

Let us not force healing…
but soften and surrender,
just enough — for a
gentle invitation of relaxation.

Let your bones grow heavy.
Sink in.
Feel the Earth hold you—
safe, nourished, and home.

Today, and every day,
remember—
you are Nature. 🌿

Your skin is not just reacting.
It’s communicating.

We’re taught to treat skin from the outside.

But what if your skin is actually speaking for what’s happening inside?

In this article, I explore how skin reflects:

– stress and the nervous system
– digestion and inflammation
– emotional patterns and stored experiences
– subtle energetic imbalances

A more integrative way to understand skin health—and what your body may be trying to tell you.

Grateful to The National Aesthetic Spa Network (NASNPRO) for the opportunity to write this piece.

I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to contribute an article for NASNPRO - Estheticians & Spa Professionals, exploring a topic I see in my work and have also personally experienced:

Burnout is not always just about workload—it can be a signal of underlying imbalance in the body.

“Burnout is not a failure—it is information.”

In this piece, I explore how underlying physiological stress, nervous system overload, and cumulative life experiences can contribute to what we label as burnout, and how supporting the body through nutrition, somatic work, and lifestyle practices can begin to restore balance.

Thank you to NASNPRO for the opportunity to share this work.

“When the body feels safer and more supported, energy, clarity, and passion begin to return.”

I’d love to hear what resonates with you.

May you and all beings be at peace.

With great joy and tenderness in my heart, I embarked on a beautiful adventure with Tinisha O'chelle Walker on what we affectionately called “monk chasing.”

It was a gift and a blessing to be in the presence of the Buddhist monks walking from Texas to Washington, D.C. They are palpably spreading peace, loving-kindness, and compassion with us all.

There is a beautiful concept — and an even more beautiful lived experience — known as darshan.

Darshan is the transmission of energy that happens simply through being in the presence of a monk, wherein the body and nervous system naturally attune to the peace they embody.

No meditation.
No effort.
No doing.

A blessing received by beholding.

In the ‘afterglow’ of being in their presence, the felt sense of quiet unshakeable peace can linger for days or weeks.

Today, I felt bathed in the collective field created by the sangha — the community of monks, walking this 2,300-mile journey in mindful discipline and devotion.

Their presence and teachings are a living reminder to —

Slow your breath to slow your mind.
Look within and you will find
peace is always here, inside.
You are full and already wise.

As the body remembers the way home through mindful presence, the monks left us with a simple morning practice:

Each day, write on paper —
Today is going to be my peaceful day.

Where might you soften just enough to remember your own inner peace?

Even in the midst of life’s many storms, We have the capacity to stand in the Center of Our own Peace.

Breathe in Peace.
Exhale Peace.

Stand. Still.
In the Center of your Own Peace.

Breathe it in.
Root it down.

Slowing everything down.
Slow the breath.
Slow your mind.
Rest here…in the peace of your own stillness.

Welcome home… to your true nature.
Welcome home… to yourself.
Welcome home… to you.
Welcome home.

“Perfection is not necessary; there is no arriving, only going. There is no need to judge where you are in your journey. It is enough that you are traveling.”

There used to be an Ayurvedic café on the Upper West Side in NYC. They offered one nourishing meal a day, and it was a truly special place—an institution that, unfortunately, closed its doors over five years ago.

On your way out, they always had a small piece of paper with words of wisdom. Through many life events—health crises, the passing of my father, and one big, unexpected move across the country—this particular piece of paper somehow stayed with me.

So much of healing isn’t about fixing or rushing—it’s about allowing the body and nervous system to move, breathe on it's own pace, without judgment. This message feels like a soft reminder to the parts of us that learned to push, strive, or be “good enough” to belong.

Wisdom has a way of staying with us when it’s meant to—traveling quietly through time until the moment it’s needed again.

Today, I felt called to share it with you. 🙏🏼

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
— Carl Jung

So much of what shapes our choices isn’t in the mind we think with—it's in the nervous system, the body, and the old imprints held beneath awareness. Our conditioning… our hidden beliefs… our unprocessed emotions and early wounds… all quietly shape how we react, relate, and repeat our patterns.

When you begin to bring those unconscious layers into the light, everything shifts. You stop mistaking automatic reactions for destiny. You stop assuming that “this is just how I am.”

You return to choice.
You return to power.
You return to yourself.

This is the heart of the work I do—guiding people into the deeper terrain of the body, the shadow, the inner child, and the energy field, so what once ran your life from underneath can finally be felt, understood, and released.

From that place of wholeness, you stop being a passive victim of circumstance and begin consciously creating your life, rather than repeating your past.

How to Begin Making the Unconscious Conscious:

CREATE SAFETY FIRST.
Slow your system. Slow your breath. Maybe place your hand on your heart. Let your body know it’s okay to feel and explore.

MINDFULNESS + SOMATIC AWARENESS.
Slow down. Bring your attention inward. Notice any sensations, emotions, and subtle signals rising beneath the surface. Are there any stories or thoughts coming up?

JOURNAL.
Let your thoughts, dreams, and feelings spill out—raw, unfiltered, honest.

SHADOW WORK.
Meet the parts of you you’ve disowned or tucked away. Integration creates freedom.

INNER CHILD LISTENING.
Notice where your reactions feel young, tender, or protective. These parts hold keys.

If you’re ready to explore what’s been living in your body and shaping your life from the unconscious, I’m here. You don’t have to uncover it alone.

What I didn’t know at the start of my healing journey: Healing is cyclical, not linear. You’ll revisit the same wounds, with new awareness. You’ll think your done, only to discover deeper layers. You didn’t fail! You’re integrating deeper layers with greater awareness.

Be gentle with yourself. Stay curious and open as your journey unfolds, perfectly, for you.
