Kudos to Dr. Hannah for an awesome visual on how hearing works - made for kids but so often questioned by adults as well! Fun fact, I worked at Clarke Schools for Hearing & Speech on the Upper East Side as an audiology student over 11 years ago. Their booth is in an old bank vault!! Still have such fond memories with my Clarke mentors and the joy of being in a preschool setting.

Calling all patients and friends! Have you used your 2024 hearing benefits yet?

This is a great time of year to use your insurance and hearing aid benefits, if you haven't yet done so for 2024.

Here are some key points to consider-

1. Many folks are entitled to benefits that renew every 3 years or so.
2. At the end of the year, most deductibles are fully or mostly met, allowing you the most coverage possible.
3. Generous hearing aid coverage by insurance is always subject to change from year to year, so best to use it before it gets cut back!
4. Hearing aids begin to malfunction over time, and new technology becomes available that can help you hear better.

Thanking all of our veterans today, and remembering the special veterans in my life who have since departed- my 2 grandfathers Mr. Sidney Smith and Mr. Josh Norowitz, who both served in WWII.

Earlier this month my family visited Cradle of Aviation Museum which really gave us an interesting glimpse and newfound respect for our soldiers and their time served on various warcraft.
