I’m delighted to announce the initiation of Brian Battjer as a new Reiki Master in Usui Shiki Ryoho on October 19, 2025. The ceremony was performed at the Okunoin on Mount Kurama in Kyoto, Japan. Christoper Tellez, Dave Hadley, and Lies Pennings held space for us, and Kanji, a Kyoto-native Reiki Master accompanied us to record the video and take photos.

The NYC Reiki Center is a traditional Reiki practice and Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki teaching center in New York City. We offer private treatments and Reiki classes in our loft space in Union Square. We also offer private mentoring for Reiki students of all levels, as well as a Certified Reiki Practitioner training program for those who with to be professional Reiki practitioners.
