This week, let's remind ourselves that it is ok to turn the news OFF, especially if it's contributing to our stress or anxiety. Being happy, safe, and at peace is far more important than knowing what is going on in the big picture around us.

It does not mean we stop being involved, or close ourselves to current events. But it may mean we set boundaries around the kinds of content we consume and at what times.

For example, starting the day as soon as you wake up with heavy news stories or upsetting events on social media is a sure way to start the day feeling crummy. Hope this helps!
