Our Story

The Passarella family opened Frederick Funeral Home in Corona in the mid-1930s. In 1961, the family expanded the business with a second Frederick Funeral Home location in Flushing.

Fred Passarella retired in 2012, and Frederick Funeral Home became part of the Dignity Memorial network.

Through the years, Frederick Funeral Home has served thousands of Queens families with an experienced team that has dedicated their careers to upholding the traditions established by Fred and his family.

Occupying a full city block on Northern Boulevard in Flushing, Frederick Funeral Home can’t be missed. We’ve been in the same location since the 1960s and have played a vital role in the lives of thousands of Queens families.

We can be easily accessed from major highways including Clearview Expressway and Long Island Expressway, as well as public transportation and the Long Island Railroad. Parking is plentiful in our corner lot, and the building is not only handicapped accessible but also includes an elevator.

Our large funeral home is a flexible space that can easily adapt to your family’s needs.
