A plan will cover the $55,000 annual tuition for every current and future New York University School of Medicine student, regardless of financial need.

And accordingly Brenner wrote: “Sanger wouldn’t survive today’s world of science.. some committee would note that he published little of import between insulin in 1952.. RNA seq in 67.. long gap until DNA seq in 77. He would be labelled as unproductive, and his funding denied.”

“Born : Fred Sanger, the only person to win two Nobel Prizes in chemistry for two seminal contributions - protein and DNA sequencing. Sanger was a scientist's scientist, saying once, "Of the three things in science, namely doing, talking, and writing, I am best at the doing."”

Big impression #1 – great emphasis and support for Young Researchers (YR). One whole day dedicated to them and one poster session. Great support for travel. I’ve not seen this type of support at other conferences. The future is so bright you’ve got to wear shades!
