Always swim with others, supervise children around water, and keep small children within arms reach. Drowning is the leading cause of death nationally for children ages1-4. Our Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program is offering a FREE Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Lead Safe Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) training course - happening Monday, August 18th, 2025, from 8am-4pm!

*Don't forget that Federal law requires that workers performing renovation, repair, and painting projects that disrupts lead-based paint in homes, daycare facilities, and schools built before 1978 to be certified and follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.
