A little new years surprise! One of my recipes and many of my friends contributed to this cookbook. Proceeds go to charity
“This unique cookbook of shared Jewish recipes is part of the Atlantic Beach, Long Beach, Lido Beach, and Point Lookout community chesed (charity) project. Our intention is that the proceeds from the sales of this book will be donated to help feed Jewish families in need. These pages are also intended to unite our community by inspiring Jewish tradition through memorable recipes. After all, in addition to the delicious tastes and smells, we all remember the best ingredients are love and family, which have been sprinkled throughout these recipes. We hope you will find a treasure of many different recipes that honor our Jewish roots. Food can sometimes feel like it can bridge the past, present, and the future. These traditional recipes can bring to our tables a feeling of our ancestors, who, once upon a time also dined on the same food. This continuous solid link allows us to converse with our children in remembrance of our ancestors as we honor them by replicating these traditional recipes in our modern kitchens. Here, we pass on the tradition.”
