Sometimes there just isn’t enough time in a traditional 1:1 therapy or coaching session to regulate your nervous system, get what you gotta say out and leave with a sense of direction for what’s next. And sometimes a yoga/meditation class just isn’t enough when you’ve had some shift or realization and you need to process it NOW. And that workshop or retreat, yeah it’s cool, but sometimes you just need that individual attention to help get you from where you are to where you need to be.

So I created something specifically for the high achievers and high performers I’ve been blessed to work with. The ones who are badasses on paper, in the office, on the Zoom - the go-to person for everyone in their lives, but who struggle to give themselves what they give to everyone else. It’s costing them their health and peace of mind, and they want real tools they can implement today.

My colleague was willing to try it, and her experience speaks for itself. Two hours of movement, breathwork, meditation, and laser focused executive functioning therapy/coaching- all customized to your specific needs and goals.

Movement + Breathwork + Meditation + Somatic Exercises with a licensed therapist and certified executive coach

This intensive approach isn’t for everyone, but if you’re ready to prioritize yourself the way you prioritize everything else, DM me.

🔔S1, EP12: Stepping Back to Move Forward: How to Find, Choose, or Create Your Own Retreat🔔

There’s a lot of chatter about retreats in wellness, corporate, and entrepreneurial spaces, but retreating isn’t one size fits all. If you’ve never been on a retreat, you may be skeptical about a retreat being worth the investment of your time, money, and energy. And if you have been on retreats, maybe you’re considering what your next one should be. The right retreat at the right time can definitely be a game changer (and in many cases, a life changer)  as you’re designing your path, but how do you know which one(s) right for you?

In this solo episode, I break down:

🌆Vacations vs. Retreats vs. Residencies
🌅Retreats as a strategy to move you from where you are to where you desire to be
🌄Finding retreats and discerning which ones are right for you
🌠The option of creating your own retreat

🔥🔥New Episode Alert: Doing the work vs Being the work🔥🔥

In this episode, I get to talk with the amazing Dr. Michelle Maidenberg, a true force in the mental health space in NY and beyond. She opens up about being vulnerable and doing the work on and in your own life  when you’re in a profession that requires you to keep it together for everyone else. Michelle shares her journey as she continues to find new ways to thrive in her personal life and the impact this has on her ability to help others heal as a psychotherapist.

She shares her perspective on:

❤️ Understanding how your emotional and behavior patterns can keep you in the box

❤️ The power that comes from being authentic

❤️ How your values can help you strengthen every area of your life including your relationships

If you’re in the midst of doing your own thing (whatever that means for you) and realizing you’ve got your own inner work to do to move forward, you’ll definitely want to listen to this episode (I’m especially looking at my fellow therapists, helpers, and caregivers 👀👀👀).

I’m thrilled to share that Episode 5 has just dropped, and it’s one I’ve been excited about for weeks!

This time, I’m chatting with the wonderful Bridgette Simmonds (or as I like to call her, “coach extraordinaire”). Bridgette isn’t just an amazing wellness coach - she’s also one of my favorite people, and I think you’ll quickly see why.

In this heartfelt conversation, Bridgette opens up about her journey from the corporate insurance world to founding her own thriving wellness coaching practice. She also shares insights on how others can design their transition from where they are to where they’d like to be.

Can’t wait for you to listen and be inspired! ✨

The last 3 months have been so full! The intense curriculum, accountability, resources, and community have been invaluable. Entrepreneurship is both challenging and invigorating and the learning never stops….neither does the need for mentorship and guidance. I’m grateful to Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women/NYU Stern School of Business for being one of those sources. Excited about what’s to come, stay tuned!
