Today, on International Day of Older Persons, we are proud to celebrate one of our most remarkable residents — Carmen Santander, 102 years young! 🎉💙
When asked about the secret to her long and fulfilling life, Carmen shared her timeless wisdom:
“Live a healthy life, have a loving family, and always keep love in your heart.” “Never skip breakfast, drink plenty of water, and fill your plate with vegetables.”
“We love each other, and that’s what has made me live a long life.”
Born and raised in Spain, Carmen spent her life as a talented dressmaker, a devoted wife, and a loving mother. Her story is a beautiful reminder of the strength, resilience, and wisdom our older adults bring to the world.
