is a PhD-4 in the microbiology department and (fun fact) was actually the first PhD student to ever do the story project! (we’re pretty sure it was only med students before). This is her 4th year performing, 2nd year as acting coach, and 1st year as director! She’s still a theatre kid at heart and treasures TSP as the one time a year she’s able to act again. She loves to sing and does it constantly wherever she can. It’s calming and stimulates the vagus nerve— try it! She’s grateful for her TSP families over the years, especially Krsna for being at the heart of TSP every year, making sure it runs smoothly ❤️ Eva is SO excited and honored to help put on another year of TSP

🤔What is the Sinai Story Project?⁣

The Story Project is an annual performance run by students of the graduate programs at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY. Each year, we invite students from across the graduate schools to submit anonymous stories about their experiences of courage, sadness, excitement, love, joy, exasperation, loss - anything. These stories are then brought to life as monologues performed by a cast of peers (info about auditions coming in Jan)

The submission page to the 2022 Sinai Story Project Event is now 🌟👉 OPEN! 👈🌟 and the deadline is in 1 WEEK!!

open to ALL Mount Sinai graduate students!

We want all stories: sad, happy, funny, scary, angry, contemplative - stories about identity, family, science, medicine, school, illness - big moments and little ones.

We want all formats: anecdotes, poems, speeches, blog posts, songs, conversations, interviews. Really, absolutely any format is acceptable.

We also encourage stories written by groups in addition to those from individuals.

Any questions? Please feel free to reply back to this email! We are working on an anonymous platform for students to ask questions - stay tuned!
