It was nice to be in one of my local parks for National ParkRx Day. ๐ณ๐โ๏ธ๐
The trees and ferns, the sunlight and fresh air, they all helped me feel relaxed, restored and rejuvenated.
I try to get out every day, even if it is just for a little bit. It clears my mind, helps me stay focused and grounded, and makes me feel happy and grateful for all the good things in my life. And my body appreciates the lower blood pressure and cortisol, which will help me enjoy these trips for years to come.
I hope you were able to get outside today, and enjoy some of your local park. If you were, leave a comment below. Iโd love to hear about your experience!
I am going to start posting videos that share some ideas and thoughts I have about this situation, and positive things you can do about it.
This is an intro video (in case anyone doesn't know much about me), and some basic ideas about one important thing you can do for your & your family's health: Spend more time in Nature. It will be good for you, in every way.
If you have any comments, thoughts, suggestions, or ideas, I am always eager to hear from you. Please check out and subscribe to my social media (FB, Instagram, Twitter) and/or my newsletter.
We'll all get through this, together.
In health,
Dr. Kurt
Soaking up that Nature Cure, and some hang time in the hammock, right on our beautiful Hudson river.
A perfect way to spend the last full day of summer. It sure was a good one.
Hope you got some good outside time in today, and this season. Send me a note and let us hear about it.
