We reimagine and provide safe, equitable mental health resources and arts programming for the Black community and marginalized communities.

Shoutout to for this Art by Monica Trinidad | A project conceived by Mariame Kaba, coordinated by Micah Bazant

This reminds us that a world beyond punishment must first be imagined before it can be built. Our REBUILD program is part of that vision: providing re-entry support & free, culturally competent therapy for people who have experienced the trauma of incarceration.

We believe healing, community, and care are central to breaking cycles of harm and building the futures we all deserve. What feels impossible today becomes reality through collective imagination and action.

👑 Celebrating a KING
king_32 is our INCREDIBLE Creative Director, my brother, and my dear friend. Yesterday I accidentally left him out of the team post (tech slip-up on my end 🙈). It’s so important celebrate him properly!

King poured his heart into creatively directing, co-hosting, and blessing us with his voice at the Block Party.

✨The DR Team is EVERYTHING!

We worked on logistics and planning for the NYC Darkness RISING Live 8: The Black Arts & Mental Health Block Party for a year. Detailed meetings, hurdles, work-around and everything in between.

We are so proud of this incredible team. We worked from sun up to sun down to bring joy, health and resources to our people. Thank you for being there!
