🫀 Your Body is Listening
Your body hears every thought you think and feels everything you feel…
Every thought you think about yourself, every feeling you hold toward yourself, is not just “in your mind.”
It is experienced by your body.
Instantaneously.
The mind and body are not separate. They are one continuous, communicating system. And when your inner dialogue is harsh, critical, or rejecting, your body receives that as stress.
Not metaphorically — but physiologically.
This internal stress response can disrupt balance, weaken resilience, and over time contribute to what we call “dis-ease” — both the subtle sense of being unwell and the physical manifestation of illness.
The Pathway to Healing...
If there is one shift that has the power to change everything, it’s this:
Gently releasing judgment of yourself.
Not by forcing positivity or pretending everything is okay — but by becoming aware of your inner voice and choosing, moment by moment, to meet yourself with kindness instead of criticism.
This might look like:
• Noticing when you’re being hard on yourself, and softening the tone
• Allowing your emotions to be felt, rather than suppressed or judged
• Speaking to yourself as you would to someone you deeply love
A Gentle Invitation...
This February, instead of searching for love outside of yourself, I invite you to cultivate it within.
To become a place of refuge for yourself.
To practice:
kindness over criticism,
curiosity over judgment,
compassion over control.
Not perfectly. Not all at once.
But gently.
Because this is not just self-care.
This is medicine.
