Dr. Singer specializes in comprehensive psychological, cognitive, educational and neuropsychological assessment. My goal is to help children and adolescents achieve their potential in both their academic and personal lives. By determining the source of children’s problems, whether they are academic, behavioral, emotional or neurological, I can alleviate the frustration associated with unanswered q

uestions regarding their difficulties. In addition, I help parents avoid wasting valuable time and resources on ineffective treatment. By identifying children’s strengths and weaknesses, I can provide recommendations to help teachers and parents show children how to use their more developed skills to compensate for any limitations they may have. Finally, I guide children and their families towards appropriate and effective treatment strategies, and act as an advocate in helping them receive the services they need.

Starting a new year is always a time of reflection, and updating my profile photo for the first time since I made this page made me realize just how long I've been in practice - 17 years! Perhaps I should be updating much more frequently - the "model" in my cover photo (my older daughter) is now 20 years old! I feel very lucky to have had so many families put their trust in me to help them better understand their children's strengths and weaknesses and find the help they need. I'm also very thankful for the many colleagues with whom I've collaborated and consulted over the years. Happy New Year to all!
