Today’s Catskill adventure was filled with so many firsts for some hikers—first winter hike, first Catskills 3500 peak Rusk Mountain,and first time in the Catskills. A day spent celebrating small wins, meaningful friendships, and the joy of connecting people with nature. ❄️🌲

Post-hike celebrations at West Kill Brewery with delicious hot chocolate and warm food made the perfect ending. ☕️✨

Last month we went back to for our final trip in Livingston Manor. We explored Beer Hill, earned our beers at Upward Brewery 🍻, and ended the evening with a cozy BBQ and sip & paint. On Sunday, we wandered through town and took a short hike to a beautiful waterfall — the perfect way to wrap up the fall season. 🍂💛

Our summer adventures continue… 🌞⛰️
Last Sunday, TriState Hikers explored the breathtaking Sam’s Point & Ice Caves trail — complete with epic views, spooky caves, and the last of the wild blueberries. 💙🫐

Last Sunday was one for the books — 26 miles in total.

We started at the George Washington Bridge, covering 13.5 miles on the Long Path and 12.9 miles along the Shoreline Trail. Cloudy skies kept us cool at first, but by midday, the sun broke through as we reached the Shoreline Café for a well-earned break.

We picked wild blackberries and raspberries along the way, crossed waterfalls that were more like gentle trickles, and faced the toughest part of the day: the Giant Stairs. That section humbled us — pure effort and focus with every step over those boulders.

Finally, the flat shoreline trail led us to Englewood parking lot just as the sun set.

Tired bodies, full hearts, and 26 miles of memories. 💚

Last year we took on 21 miles of the Appalachian Trail through Harriman and had an unforgettable adventure. This year, we’re leveling up. 💪🏾🥾

We’ve set our sights on 24 miles—this time tackling a section of the Long Path, starting right at the George Washington Bridge. From city sidewalks to forest trails, we’re making every step count.

Here’s to pushing limits, chasing miles, and building memories one trail at a time. Let’s go! 🌲💚

Outlandish Juneteenth Hike 🌿🖤❤️💚
Last Sunday I had the pleasure of guiding one of my favorite crew .nyc
We kicked off the day by sharing what freedom means to each of us—a powerful way to honor Juneteenth before stepping onto the trail.

A light rain greeted us early on, but the sun came through just in time for lunch at the fire tower. 🌧️☀️
The final two miles led us through a lush, green forest—peaceful, vibrant, and full of life.

A beautiful day of reflection, connection, and adventure.
Grateful for everyone who showed up, shared, and celebrated with us.
