Gateway offers programs, services and meals for people with special needs, intellectual and developmental disabilities and people with mental health needs. Gateway also provide support services the families of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Gateway operates out of four of the five New York City boro

ughs, serving individuals living in the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn and Upper Manhattan. Gateway provides programs and services 365 days a year, 7 days a week, from early morning on into the evening hours. Our facilities, programs and services are regulated under the auspices of the New York State Office for Persons with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH).

A day full of history at Federal Hall Museum! 🇺🇸🏛️

Our individuals had a wonderful time exploring one of New York’s most iconic landmarks. From learning about George Washington to seeing where the first U.S. Congress met — it was an inspiring and educational adventure.

We love giving our community the chance to connect with the world around them through meaningful experiences like this! 🌟

Our individuals spent a beautiful afternoon creating stunning floral arrangements in teapots — turning everyday items into works of art.

This hands-on activity brought out so much creativity and joy. The room was filled with color, smiles, and the sweet scent of fresh flowers.
