Dharma Yoga Winnipeg Based on the teachings of Sri Dharma Mittra, the living embodiment of yoga, classes support compassionate living through meditation, pranayama and asana.

Sam completed over 1000 hours of yoga teacher training programs before finding her true teacher, the β€œrock of yoga", Sri Dharma Mittra. Dharma is a beloved yoga master known for his humility, humour, joy and kindness. As a living embodiment of yoga he demonstrates how students can live their yoga practice off the mat with deep compassion for all beings. Sam is a graduate of Sri Dharma’s Life of a Yogi Teacher Training and extremely grateful to be sharing these practices in Winnipeg. Available Classes:

- Asana (physical postures)
- Pranayama (breathing exercises)
- Meditation
- Yoga Nidra
- Self Study

Sam Manchulenko is an advanced Yogi, professional dancer, adventurer and lover of life. She has over 1500 hours of yoga teacher training with instructors including Sri Dharma Mittra, Shiva Rea and Seane Corn as well as training in life coaching, forgiveness, Vipassana meditation, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Healing Touch, and the Enneagram. Sam supports students in the self discovery necessary to truly live their practice off the mat. An avid traveller who loves learning from different cultures, Sam has taught yoga in Morocco, volunteered in Ghana, explored meditation in SE Asia, studied flamenco dance in Spain, whirled with the dervishes in Istanbul, and served as a karma yogi at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat in the Bahamas. Sam is passionate about living life to the fullest with a joyful heart and inspiring others to do the same.

Tonight was a gift πŸ’« I decided to take an advanced contemporary dance class with floor work, naively thinking floor work would be a nice long stretch lying on the floor πŸ˜†

It was a challenging, inspiring evening that I may have missed if I knew what floor work really meant.

My favorite part was the wise guidance by our instructor which focused on heart and presence,

β€œAny problem you have, you can find the answer by dancing. Focus on the experience. If you can feel it you will find it.” ~

Dance + yoga are soul mates.

The Bhagavad Gita is one of the main texts of yoga. During my time at the ashram, the daily Bhagavad Gita study was my favorite part of each day. We would often study just one verse because there is so much wisdom contained within.

A couple little yogis need their Aunty Sam to come visit them. This will be our LAST WEEK of classes in Peanut Park. I hope you will join me:

Monday + Wednesday
Tuesday + Thursday

There will be no classes from August 28th - Sept. 6th while I take a little vacation to visit my very missed nephews πŸ’•

If the weather allows we may have one more week of outdoor classes Sept. 7th -11th πŸ™ Otherwise it will be time to move indoors for the fall.

This fall, evening Dharma Yoga classes will be held at Yoga Centre Winnipeg. Saturday morning classes will be at Sacred Space on Sherbrook and weekday morning classes will remain on Zoom. All in person classes will also be shared on Zoom as well.

Tuesday Satsang and Saturday pranayama will continue this fall via Zoom. All class registration can be done at samtheyogi.com.

I hope to practice with you soon! For anyone has been separated from loved ones I hope you get to be with them very soon πŸ’•
