Full-Circle Reflections
8 years ago, I had just moved back to New York City working two full-time jobs while boldly building Beautiful Amore Skincare from the ground up.
Every morning, I took a 2-hour train ride to Columbia University, and after that shift, I’d head straight to my next job at Amtrak in Sunnyside Yard, Queens. I was tired, but my purpose was louder than my exhaustion. I spoke about my dream everywhere on the train, at work, during lunch breaks because I believed in it that deeply.
There were no investors. No handouts. Just faith, consistency, and a vision that refused to be silenced. Those long days and sleepless nights built my discipline, my courage, and my resilience.
Looking back now, I see how that season shaped me… a woman who didn’t wait for permission, who created opportunity out of endurance, and who kept showing up even when it wasn’t easy.
