In our practice, we sometimes need to fill in the “gaps” left by procedures conducted elsewhere – especially with breast surgery and liposuction. This patient had liposuction of her inner thighs at another office, and it was done in an uneven fashion that left her with a significant contour irregularity. Plastic surgery can often be done at almost any age. This patient had a “mommy makeover” at 80 years old! She was unusually healthy, only took one medication, and she sailed through both the operation and recovery. We performed a “tummy tuck,” a breast lift, and an auto-augmentation—meaning we took her own breast tissue and re-suspended it to her chest wall to give her that nice, full appearance. With the right patient selection and procedures, we can deliver remarkable results for a wide range of patients.

When it comes to feeling confident, even the smallest changes can make a big difference. This patient came in looking to smooth and tighten the inner thighs—an area that often holds onto fat despite maintaining a healthy diet and exercise. Where should you stay the first night after surgery? For major procedures like a “mommy makeover,” the first night is best spent in the office. We provide a private recovery room, dedicated nursing staff, and all the comforts you need, including a large TV. After your first night, I will check on you first thing in the morning before discharging you to your nearby home or hotel.
