*To address the concerns of students at the SON and University levels.
*To serve as a liaison between the student body and faculty.
*To improve cohesiveness and communication among students.
*To organize activities that enhance and promote student experiences within the University.
* To offer a forum for study and discussion of relevant nursing issues and problems relating to nursing as a profession.
*To further the quality of graduate education in the SON.

The ASSN is spotlighting how UCSF SON students care for their mental health during crunch time.

ASSN is here to support you, and this week we’re doing a Mental Health Check-In Series. Each day, we’ll share photos from your fellow students showing what they do to care for their mental well-being. We’re all in this together.

The ASSN is spotlighting how UCSF SON students care for their mental health during crunch time.

From walks to journaling to quick coffee breaks, small moments make a big difference.

Winter break is almost here. Keep going. 💙

For Muslims around the world, Ramadan is a blessed month of worship based on the Islamic Lunar Calendar. Muslims fast daily from sunrise to sunset from food and drink (including water). Throughout the month, Muslims give in charity, focus on spirituality, and connect with their communities. ✨🌙

We’re happy to share that, for the 3rd year, with support from ASGD, ASSN, ASSP, MSA at UCSF, SOM MENEA, SON DIO, and Student Success Basic Needs, UCSF students were able to make and share Iftar treat bags with all UCSF students for the month of Ramadan! 🎉 We hope you enjoy!

➡️ You can find the Iftar treat bags in the Student Pantry in the Student Success Center available with your UCSF badge. Kindly consider your fellow Muslim students who may be using these bags to break their fast, thank you so much!!👍🏼🤗
