And I’m not saying this to shame anyone — I’m saying it because our health is suffering in silence.
When 40% of U.S. adults and 1 in 5 children are living with obesity, it’s not “normal”… it’s a crisis.
We’ve accepted chronic fatigue, joint pain, inflammation, emotional eating, hypertension, and prediabetes as “just life.”
It’s NOT just life.
It’s a wake-up call.

Obesity doesn’t come from one cause — it comes from many.
Behavioral, environmental, biological, and emotional factors all play a role.
In the U.S., 40.3% of adults live with obesity; among children and teens, 19.7% — about 14.7 million youth.
Stress, processed foods, long work hours, limited access to healthy options, trauma, genetics, hormones — all contribute to weight gain over time.
Understanding the root causes removes shame and makes space for real change.
