In the wake of the recent revision of breast screening guidelines by the American Cancer Society, Highway Imaging Associates continues to advocate the more widely-accepted recommendation from the American College of Radiology, the Society of Breast Imaging and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists—which is for annual mammography screening for women aged 40 and above. This recommendation delivers the maximum lifesaving benefits and morbidity prevention from breast cancer.
