Dear friends,
You will be receiving (or may have received) a letter from Weill Cornell Medicine announcing our departure from their
Faculty Practice. The decision to join the NYU-Langone Faculty beginning December 9, 2019 was made after careful consideration and our conclusion that it would be beneficial both to our patients and our practice. A major factor in our decision was NYU's state-of-the-art phone system with a backup call center to keep hold times to an absolute minimum.
The change to Global's association with NYU will not affect any of our patients. The office is not moving. We will still be
participating in our current insurance plans. We remain on staff at Weill Cornell, and our professional relationships with their specialists, ER physicians and hospitalists will not change. We will now have access to the excellent subspecialists at NYU, as well as their fine ER and hospitalist staff.
We are grateful for your patience and understanding, and will assist you in obtaining medical records via the Weill Cornell protocol. We are very excited to be joining the NYU Faculty Group Practice and are certain that it will improve the services which we are privileged to provide to you.
