Many of my clients have shared that making content is a top source of stress for them.
I get it. You didn’t start a business or become an artist or whatever, to also be performing on social media all day long.
You want to focus on your work, but today’s market demands you be more online and visible in order to be seen and make sales.
My hack: just do your work online.
Think of that ONE human being that you KNOW you can help.
Speak to them directly and tune out everything else.
(I give you permission to ignore all the distractions).
However big or small of a step, taking action is taking action and over time it compounds into real results.
Whatever you would say to a client, or an audience member, just slap it up on a blank canvas and send it.
Don’t think so hard about it.
Put a timer on your content session (I recommend no more than 10 minutes) and when it’s done, you’re done.
The whole damn world is out here creating cringy content.
Don’t let it stress you out.
Have fun with it. Say what you need to say and move on.
The right people will find you and the others will show themselves to the door.
What’s your cringiest piece of content?
Let’s normalize being human and move on with changing lives already.
