School leaders in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho — this one's for you.

We know that supporting student mental health looks different in the Intermountain West. Rural communities, evolving state policies, limited resources — these are challenges that require thoughtful, regionally-informed solutions.

That's why JED is launching the Intermountain West Learning Series: Promoting Student Mental Health Across Policy, Practice, and Emerging Challenges — a FREE four-part webinar series designed specifically for district decision makers and administrators in WY, MT, and ID.

The series includes:
🗓️ Session 1: Student-Centered Learning Through a Mental Health Lens (Feb 11)
🗓️ Session 2: Navigating State Legislative Actions: Implications for Student Mental Health (Mar 11)
🗓️ Session 3: Su***de Prevention in Rural Districts (Apr 15)
🗓️ Session 4: Student Mental Health and Emerging Technologies (May 13)

All sessions are at 12 pm MT// 2 pm ET and are completely free. Can't attend live? Register anyway to watch the recording

When our community or country faces violence or tragedy, we experience collective trauma.

These events shake our sense of safety. Processing these emotions isn’t a linear path, and it won’t look the same for you as it does for your neighbor.

Be gentle with yourself today. Your mental health is a priority, not an afterthought. 💙

Our team members are taking a social media break to recharge their batteries and enjoy the holiday season with loved ones. As a mental health organization, it's important that we practice what we preach and take downtime when we need it. Between now and the new year, you’ll continue to see some activity on our page but our team will be offline.

If you or someone you know needs to talk to someone right now, text, call, or chat 988 for a free confidential conversation with a trained counselor 24/7.

You can also contact the Crisis Text Line by texting HOME to 741-741.

If this is a medical emergency or if there is immediate danger of harm, call 911 and explain that you need support for a mental health crisis.

From all of us at JED, we're so grateful for this community and your continued support for mental health and su***de prevention. 💙
