Our Summer Camp party was an absolute blast! The menu was a delicious throwback to classic campfire treats—juicy hot dogs, hearty beans, and gooey, mouthwatering s’mores that had everyone coming back for seconds. Ari kept the energy soaring with lively sing-alongs that had the whole crowd joining in, and before long, even a few family members were fully embracing the summer camp spirit, singing and laughing like true campers. It was a perfect day filled with fun, food, and unforgettable memories!

Welcome Back, Andrea!
We are thrilled to welcome Andrea back to The Savoy!

Andrea graduated from Iona College and earned her master’s in social work from Adelphi University. Her career includes counseling children, working in adult daycare and residential settings, providing social services in community older adult centers, and most recently serving as a case manager in assisted living—right here at The Savoy.

Andrea’s passion is ensuring every resident feels seen, heard, and cared for in a warm, supportive environment. Outside of work, she enjoys family trips (especially to Disney), time on the North Fork of Long Island, and cheering for the Mets. Andrea is married, the proud mother of three daughters, and a dog mom.

Please join us in giving Andrea a warm welcome back home to The Savoy!

We had the pleasure of taking our residents to my favorite restaurant—Crabtrees, a charming local Mediterranean spot in Floral Park. As a regular, I’ve always appreciated the warm atmosphere and exceptional service, but today was something extra special. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made a difference, and we’re so grateful for their hospitality.
