Couples Communication Skills Workshop
August 11 - NYC
August 18 - East Brunswick, NJ
Do you keep having the same conflicts over and over again, and can't find resolution? Is your partner unable to fully hear you, and understand your perspective?
When couples argue frequently, its usually due to habits of blaming, attacking, repetitive arguments, and seeking to be heard rather than to listen. Patterns like these create distance in a relationship. These patterns are hurtful - wounding.
Our couples communication skills workshop will introduce you to ways that you can listen with curiosity, and understand the needs of the other person.
Couples learn:
1. Ways that you can listen with curiosity, with the intent/ purpose being to understand the needs of the other person.
2. How to mirror, validate, and empathize with your partner.
3. Speak your truth, with kindness, so you can be heard.
4. Translate you complaints into needs.
5. Build intimacy through communication.
