The NY Allergy & Sinus Centers are home to Board-Certified Allergists and Immunologist who provide expert and effective treatment to patients from throughout New York City at practices, located in Murray Hill, Upper West Side, and Midtown East. Dr. Morris Nejat and Dr. Jamie Kiehm lead a team of highly trained and patient focused health care providers who deliver expert care for a wide variety of concerns including dermatitis, anaphylaxis, nasal polyps, urticaria (hives), and allergies ranging from food and animals to latex and drugs. From diagnostics to customized treatment plans, the doctors support and guide patients of all ages through every step to help manage their allergies and symptoms, improving their quality of life, health, and overall wellbeing. 🚨 Pantry Alert: Major Ritz Recall 🚨
Mondelēz (maker of Ritz) quietly issued a nationwide recall on July 8, 2025. It affects Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches (8‑, 20‑, and 40‑pack cartons) and the 20‑count Variety Pack, due to a packaging mix‑up: individual wrappers lacking “peanut allergy” warnings were accidentally printed as cheese sandwiches, thanks to defective film packaging

🗓️ Best‑by dates range from Nov 1–9, 2025 to Jan 22, 2026, depending on the carton and plant code—check the FDA chart for exact matching UPCs and plant codes people.

✋ No reported illnesses yet, but the FDA warns the mix‑up could cause life‑threatening allergic reactions—especially for kids or anyone with a peanut allergy

🔍 What you should do:
    •    Inspect your pantry and snack packs carefully.
    •    If wrappers say “cheese” but come from the recalled cartons, do not eat them.
    •    Return them to the store or throw them out.
