Almost every weekend I’m able to enjoy pizza, wine, and froyo... and not gain any weight.

In fact, the day weekend I went out, the scale was down 2lbs on Sunday.

I do this by:
- planning ahead
- building my day around my meal out
- incorporating balance (side salad with protein)
- loading up on protein before I go to avoid over-eating
- hydrating during the day
- still getting my steps and workout in
- limiting how much alcohol I have
- setting my high day to the weekend

Steal these 5 strategies to get back into a routine and lose the fluff after your vacation.

Remember: It’s normal to need some time to adjust, so don’t beat yourself up if you’re not back to your pre-vacation routine immediately.

Create a schedule that’s easy to follow, remind yourself of all the reasons why you enjoy your routine, and remember how great you feel when you do these things consistently.

Already 5lbs down. Tummy is tighter and flatter. And she’s ONLY 2 weeks in.

In her words: “I keep touching my stomach like… hey, this doesn’t feel as bloated or squishy!”

The crazy part is that she almost hesitated.

She had a few trips planned and was worried she wouldn’t be able to stick to the plan perfectly…

She didn’t want to shortchange herself or her results.

But that’s the beauty of what we do.

Yes—there’s a plan.

But it’s flexible. Adaptable. Just like real life.

When she’s home, we lock in and stay dialed.

And when she’s traveling, she’s enjoyed cocktails, whiskey tastings, and dinners out…

And still seeing results.

How?

She’s using a few key anchors that keep her grounded in her healthy lifestyle:
✅ Drinking enough water
✅ Hitting her steps
✅ Prioritizing protein
✅ Choosing her hell yes foods
✅ Checking in with how her choices make her feel

And most importantly—she’s doing the mindset work.

She’s letting go of that all-or-nothing thinking...

If weekends are where you always blow it… you’re not alone.

But also, that pattern is costing you your results.

You keep saying you want to make a change, but then the weekend rolls around and it’s like: “oops, guess I’ll start over Monday.”

If you really want to see different results, you have to do something different.

It doesn’t have to be committing to a strict diet or white-knuckling your way through the weekend pretending you’re suddenly a robot with zero cravings or social plans.

Just one small shift. That’s it.

If you’re not sure what that looks like, I want you to pick ONE of these tips below and commit to it this weekend.

1. Stick to your weekday sleep + wake times.

2. Start your morning with some kind of movement.

3. Keep breakfast or lunch the same as your Monday–Friday routine.

4. Pre-plan one indulgence and ENJOY it.

5. Check in with your future self.
