So, I had a toxic reaction two decades ago to an antibiotic that put me in the ER. It caused me a non-alcoholic fatty liver and triggered my body to overproduce cholesterol. I refuse to take a statin because it wouldn’t “fix” the problem, but I was reconsidering after my last year's numbers were the highest that had ever been. I wanted to try a GLP-1 because low doses have been shown to reduce cholesterol and glucose levels despite being pushed for weight loss. Never been too concerned about weight loss But keeping it real, I can stand to lose some fat after two arm surgeries have kept me out the gym for the last two years.
So I tried something different.
Last Year
Weight 181, Cholesterol 302, LDL 235, HDL 50, Glucose 111
As of today, my Biometrics.
Weight 175, Cholesterol 201, LDL 114, HDL 53, Glucose 92
I was shocked. Still am. But I am getting back on track.
